Alright. When your brother-in-law asks why you haven't posted lately, you know it's been too long. So, what's my excuse? Well, I'd like to blame it on having a newborn, but I can't. He is such a good baby. Possibly I could blame it on the stupid stomach bug I've had for the past 3 days, but that doesn't fly either (what have I been doing for the other 2 1/2 weeks?). All I can really say is, I don't have much to say.
My neighbor Janice came over and took pictures of Cole 2 weeks ago and is going to give me a disk with all the pics on it after she "photo shops" them. Jason and I have obviously taken pics of him, but I don't know how to download pics onto my overloaded computer (Jason knows the trick and he hasn't taught me yet). So, I'm at his mercy to get those pics downloaded. So, SOON I will have pictures, I promise!
I'll tell you about him though. He is getting chubby (BIG surprise). We like the sing the double chin song to him (double chin, double chin, he has a double chin).
He is a great sleeper. I really shouldn't brag, okay, yes I should. So, he has actually slept through the night 3 times now. It's kinda freaky. I wake up and think "Did I feed him without remembering it?" But nope, he slept through the night. Normally he just gets up once in the night to eat around 4 or 5 and then back to sleep. So you won't be hearing any complaining from me about that.
He has a little temper, which I find to be cute at this stage, but I'm sure it won't be cute when he's 2. He will be sitting there completely content, and the next thing you know, he is full blown crying. No warning. However, I must admit, it is usually followed by an extremely loud squirt (if you know what I mean).
He still sleeps most of the day and is easy to haul anywhere I need to go. We will stay for hours at the pool and we won't hear a peep from him.
Alex and Rachel absolutely adore him. They smother him at times and fight over who gets to sit in the direction Cole is looking. They kiss him uncontrollably (who can blame them), play with his little hands and feet, and are quick to put his Binky back in if it falls out.
Okay, so I just remembered that I took a picture of his yesterday with my cell phone, so it's not the greatest quality picture, but it's still a picture of him.
And this is what Cole did the entire time I wrote this post. He just slept on the boppy on my lap. Check out the cheeks!

Oh my goodness! He's SO cute! I just want to squish him! What a good little guy and sleeper, how come I get all the crabby kids?
You really have the cutest babes. And, the best ones too. I really can't wait to see him, so I can squish his cheeks also. Glad the vacation is over.

Just curious what is the tune to the 'double chin' song? Too funny. I'm so glad we get an updtae & pics too. His skin looks great and I still wants to hold, smell, and cuddle the crap out of him (not literally thank you) How funny that Rachel & Alex want to sit where he is looking- that is the cutest thing I've ever heard. They are going to be very good at being the big bro and sis.
