Isn't this the most beautiful 60 year old you've ever seen?

My mom's birthday was yesterday and she turned 60. She was really bummed out about being "so old", but I told her that I'd be thrilled if I looked like her at 60. She is the BEST mom! She always goes out of her way to help me when I need her. I don't know what I would've done when I broke my foot if it weren't for her!
She's so talented! She can sew just about anything (she made these scarves) and is so creative in every way. She can always make me smile and is so fun to be around.

And I'm sure my dad feels like the luckiest man alive to be married to her!

Baseball season has arrived and Alex has finally found a sport he likes. The first night Alex got his uniform he was sooo excited he could hardly sleep! Jason went to check on Alex before he went to bed and this is what he found . . .

Wait, what's that on the floor next to his bed?Um, excuse me? I didn't even know he knew where these pants were at! Jason was laughing so hard he came to get me. Notice how everything is just so . . . . . . right down to the socks. He's actually a good little hitter too!
Now, if we could get him from sitting down while out in the outfield!

A Mary Kay consultant? Why yes. It's official. I have been contemplating becoming one for a while now. Not because I'm some expert of make-up and beauty products, but because I LOVE the product! My plan isn't to do parties (unless someone REALLY wants to do one) but to just be there for anyone who wants some Mary Kay product. I know I live in a small town, but seriously?

Sometimes I forget just how small the St. George area is. It is days like last Thursday that I am reminded just how small it is. This is no joke. The main headline to "The Spectrum" (the local newspaper) was this:

Is this headline material? I question that! I mean, this isn't the Community Section, it's the front page! We went for a little Sunday Afternoon Drive last Sunday and ended up in La Verkin (we were considering driving through Zions but changed our minds). We were really hoping we would meet these 2 infamous people while there!

The Spectrum is really a funny paper. I usually don't read it (I only subscribe for the Sunday paper - all 6 copies - to get my coupons) but when I do, I make sure I read up on my Arrests.

Not only do they state the person's name and crime, but age, STREET ADDRESS, and bail $. What? If they were to do this in SLC, it would take up pages and pages. I guess it's good to know who was driving without proof of insurance!

As for my foot, it's actually feeling really good. Thanks to everyone who has called to check up on me. My next goal is to get it into a running shoe and start shedding my baby lb's (hey, he's not 1 yet!)

Surgery Again!

But this time I'm excited about it! I am getting my pins out tomorrow and my poor E.F. will hopefully be gone for good. I was told last week when I saw my podiatrist that one of my pins was coming out on it's own and was "snagging" my tendon (his word). Yuck! No wonder it hurts and wants to be all fat and ugly!

Here's my thing though, both times I had to have surgery I asked Jason if I said anything funny and he said no. That perplexes me because everyone says funny things when they're drugged. I came to the conclusion that it's because he wasn't trying to pull information out of me. So if you can think of anything you want him to ask me, leave a comment. I'll let you all know how things go.

I remember Lindsay said last year how the idea of some huge bunny hopping around, entering your home, and leaving presents was a bit scary. I couldn't agree more! This bunny gave me the creeps for sure!

I hope everyone has a happy Easter and remembers the TRUE meaning of why we celebrate this holiday.

Luscious Lashes

My sister Kate has been learning how to do eyelash extensions and needed people to practice on. Sign me up for anything that benefits me for FREE! Can I just say, I look HOT when I get out of the shower (minus the stretch marks, saggy boobs, and cellulite)! I can't express how much I LOVE them! Totally worth the 4 hour application time!
