Yeah! We finally sold our beloved Infinity. It was a great car, but not very practical for my construction site visiting husband, and my soon to be 3 kids. We had it for sale for a LONG LONG time! So, now we've got the cash burning a hole in our pockets. We are trying to decide what to get. The criteria is simple: it has to hold 3 car seats comfortably.
Jason is all for an SUV. Great, but gas prices are rising and rising and they aren't the best at fuel efficiency. I don't really want a minivan, but they are the practical choice. They get better gas mileage, they have the push button-door open convenience, and they are a bit cheaper. Jason calls them the Mormon Mobiles (no offence to anyone who owns one). I think we have narrowed it down to either a Honda Odyssey or a Honda Pilot. Pilots are better looking, but not as good in the gas mileage dept or the comfy seat dept (and maybe not quite as nerdy).
Help! What do we do?

It pains me to reccomend a Ford product but I sugest you look at their new SUV they are offering check it out here. http://youtube.com/watch?v=bcxHFoWnJUg&feature=related
They may be nerdy, and everyone in our neighborhood has one, but oh, Nanci... you would love the Honda Odyssey. Honestly. I never thougtht I would like minivans either, but this one is SO GREAT!! Come and drive mine for a couple of days and you will be hooked. (P.S. thanks for the nursing advice. It helps to hear it from someone who has been there. Cute blog too!)
Just get the minivan. It makes the most sense even though it is the "mormon mobile". You are in fact mormons so you fit right into the criteria. Plus if it saves you money on gas you can look hot in new clothes and sunglasses while driving it.
Can't wait to see you tonight...yea!
Ok, can I just vent a little about people and there issues with minivans. First of all I was one of those people who said, I will never drive a minivan! How snotty is that? Why don't we want to drive minivans? They are awesome, convenient, handy, great, whatever. People don't want to drive them because its a mom - mobile, mormon - mobile. But aren't those two things that we are very proud of being? Moms and Mormons? Wow, sorry. Anywho, get a minivan and be proud! I want one SO bad. Daren wants a Yukon or Burb so he can haul things, whatever. The good thing about the new Yukons and Burbs is that they have some valve shutoff so you are not always in 4wheel drive or something like that? Anyway, what it equals to is better gas mileage, I've heard just as good as minivans, but I don't know. I'm done now.
I say Pilot. But everyone who loves vans loves their Odysseys. I don't love minivans either. Good luck!
