Holy yummy cake! I made these cakes for my Mom's Birthday/Mother's Day party. Not only were they yummy, they were pretty too!

This one was Devil's food cake, with a vanilla cream frosting and crushed Oreo's in the middle, topped with white modeling chocolate (nope, it's not fondant...it's chocolate!!!) Let's just say that I'm glad it was a popular cake because my waistline and self control couldn't handle leftovers!!!
I pretty ticked that this cake got ruined. It actually was really cute before it had to be transported in the car for 45 minutes. Simple white cake with milk chocolate frosting and white chocolate lettering.I'm glad Mother Nature decided to give us moms a nice present on Mother's Day. The weather was soooooooo nice. We were able to eat outside and enjoy the sunshine. I hope all you mother's out there had a great day too! (Apparently I'm getting the bike trailer that I wanted but my hubby is searching for a good deal on a used one...I'll post pictures when I get it)
